Time-based Design, City of Turku 2024
The studio designed a residential block in Turku’s Linnanniemi. The students’ task was to apply the principles of adaptability and design for disassembly, their design. The results examine how the cityscape, functionality and aesthetics of buildings are affected by the circular design philosophy and a strong contextual relation to the surrounding cultural landscape near the medieval Castle of Turku.
